Un movimento che vibra nel silenzio<\/b> intercorso tra un passo ed un respiro, nel colore indossato in ogni gradiente dello spettro solare, gioioso e fresco alfabeto visivo<\/b> di una coreografia che \u201cmiscela\u201d complessit\u00e0 e semplicit\u00e0, fluidit\u00e0 e fermo immagine, caos e ordine<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Pi\u00f9 linguaggi si intersecano e dialogano per raggiungere quella plurale armonia nella quale sincronia e asincronia si sovrappongono in un arpeggio visivo di rara sug<\/b>![\"transition](\"https:\/\/archiviogioia.lavocedelpaese.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/transition_danza_1.JPG\")
<\/b>gestione<\/b>.<\/p>\n
I corpi dei danzatori<\/b> scivolano, si sfiorano, serpeggiano, si insinuano, salgono e scendono su scale umane, costruiscono architetture di movimento<\/b>, si esprimono in gotiche, fluide movenze che si frammentano e dissolvono per poi ricomporsi,<\/b> seguendo un richiamo gestuale impercettibile, improbabile eppur rigorosamente matematico, codificato alla perfezione.<\/p>\n
Nulla \u00e8 lasciato al caso, se non l\u2019emozione percepita dal pubblico<\/b>, tra lo sconcerto di un iniziale \u201cdietro le quinte\u201d costruito ad arte e l\u2019originalit\u00e0 ricercata ad ogni costo<\/b> in impossibili baricentri in marcia e rientranti.<\/p>\n
Le agite gestua<\/b>![\"transition](\"https:\/\/archiviogioia.lavocedelpaese.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/transition_danza_5.JPG\")
lit\u00e0, la plasticit\u00e0 di corpi<\/b> – circondati da aure di pura energia – sfiorano, guizzanti come fiamme, radenti lame di luce. <\/b><\/p>\n
I corpi si cercano, si trovano, si perdono, si abbracciano e avvolgono in spirali tattili,<\/b> cellule di un\u2019unica creatura<\/b> in divenire, pulsante, in perenne meiosi e mitosi di creativit\u00e0.<\/b><\/p>\n
La \u201cpossessione\u201d diviene poesia<\/b>. Si esprime in mani allacciate, nell\u2019abbraccio di corpi inarcati,<\/b> vibranti nell\u2019eco della frenesia di vorticanti evoluzioni e audaci voli.<\/b><\/p>\n
Quando tutto tace e si ferma,![\"transition](\"https:\/\/archiviogioia.lavocedelpaese.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/transition_danza_6.JPG\")
sono il respiro ansante ed i sorrisi a danzare.<\/p>\n
ResExtensa<\/b> in prima nazionale ha portato il 19 e 20 aprile a Gioia, nel Rossini, le coreografie di Tom Dale, Augusto Corrieri e Lauri Stallings<\/b>, tre diverse visioni di danza cui hanno dato \u201ccorpo e anima\u201d dodici danzatori della Transitions Dance Company<\/b> in \u201cMixed Bill<\/b>\u201d: Hannah Cameron, Glynn Egerton-Read, Daisy Farris, Sarah Golding, Rosie Gregory, Rebecca Hall, Laura Ann Heywood, Robert Keates, Sarah Lee, Holly Preece, Silvia Rossi, Brian Solomon.<\/b><\/p>\n
Per Dale \u201cSuccession\u201d<\/b>, una performance declinata attraverso la danza tra lande e griglie complesse, uno spazio vissuto e conquistato dall\u2019energia, dalla dinamicit\u00e0, dalla sensualit\u00e0, dalla scultorea fisicit\u00e0 dei dodici ballerini.<\/b> Semplicit\u00e0 e freschezza nei costumi di Berit Laageide<\/b>, sciente empatia nelle luci di Karsten Tinapp<\/b> e musica elettronica per dar voce al ![\"transition](\"https:\/\/archiviogioia.lavocedelpaese.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/transition_danza_9.JPG\")
movimento danzato.<\/p>\n
Per Augusto Corrieri in \u201cPiece for 12 dancers 17 trees\u201d<\/b> – costumi di Lucy Reeves<\/b> e progetto luci di Andy Hammond<\/b> – l\u2019insolita scelta musicale de \u201cLa conversazione (1974)\u201d. Intrigante la sua \u201cvisione\u201d traboccante di indizi e provocazioni<\/b> a tratti \u201csovversivi\u201d che disorientano senza le coordinate di un codice di lettura teatrale alquanto articolato. <\/b><\/p>\n
Infine in \u201cYou may be my broche\u201d di Lauri Stallings<\/b> – costumi di Suzie Holmes<\/b> e luci di Fay Patterson<\/b> -, una autentica apoteosi di vibrante ecletticit\u00e0 attraverso frame filmici di estrema suggestione. I danzatori \u201crecitano\u201d il movimento e lo narrano attraverso complesse architetture corporee,<\/b> con la complicit\u00e0 delle musiche di Beirut, Benoit ![\"transition](\"https:\/\/archiviogioia.lavocedelpaese.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/transition_danza_8.JPG\")
Pioulard, Senking, Loscil e Boris Kovac.<\/p>\n

\u201cI danzatori hanno apprezzato moltissimo i profumi, i colori, la luce, ogni angolo di Gioia<\/b> e della Puglia. A fatica siamo riusciti ad arrivare dalla stazione al Rossini. Si fermavano ad osservare ogni cosa, ogni scorcio, persino le vetrine e i negozi con uno stupore che inteneriva. Guardando quel che ci circonda con il loro sguardo, abbiamo riscoperto la bellezza a volte scontata dei luoghi che abitiamo<\/b>. Hanno deciso di trattenersi altri due giorni, rispetto a quanto programmato, proprio perch\u00e9 perdutamente innamorati di questo frammento d\u2019Italia<\/b>. Forse decideranno di tornare in vacanza, grazie anche all\u2019accoglienza riservata, ![\"transition](\"https:\/\/archiviogioia.lavocedelpaese.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/transition_danza_3.JPG\")
magari contagiando con il loro entusiasmo altri amici. Star dietro a tutto ed organizzare eventi cos\u00ec importanti non \u00e8 facile, ma sono queste le sfide che ci piace vincere!\u201d<\/p>\n
E Gioia, in un momento di grandi incertezze e criticit\u00e0 politiche sia a livello locale che nazionale,<\/b> non potr\u00e0 che trarne beneficio, anche perch\u00e9 se \u00e8 pur vero che \u201c\u2026il Teatro deve portare lo spettatore in un altrove, non dare soluzioni perch\u00e9 una storia risolta non genera stupore\u201d [Corrado Accordino<\/b>], non va dimenticato che \u201c\u2026la cultura rende un popolo<\/b> facile da guidare, ma difficile da trascinare; facile da governare, ma impossibile a ridursi in schiavit\u00f9<\/b>…\u201d [Henry Brougham -1828], una consapevolezza spesso smarrita al cospetto di un sempre pi\u00f9 aberrante e alienante schermo televisivo sintonizzato su TV spazzatura.<\/p>\n

Dalila Bellacicco<\/strong><\/p>\n ———————————– RESEXTENSA TALENT-SCOUT OF CULTURE IN \u201cTRANSITIONS\u201d-photo<\/b><\/p>\n We wish the young dancers and the choreographers success and a bright future, offering the translations of the article and we apologize for any inaccuracies related to “nuances” and colorings: language is not always “translatable”.<\/p>\n ResExtensa talent scout of culture and tourism in Transitions “Mixed Bill”, dance in perfect “Transitions” between present and future, imbued with the sacredness of the “thought” movement, internalized and reinterpreted through every sensorial perception.<\/p>\n Movement that vibrates in the silent interval between a step and a breath, in the color worn in all gradients of the solar spectrum, joyful and fresh visual alphabet of a choreography that mixes complexity and simplicity, fluidity and still pictures, chaos and order.<\/p>\n Multiple languages come together and dialogue to achieve a rare harmony in which synchrony and asynchrony overlap in a visual arpeggio of rare beauty. The bodies of the dancers glide, skim each other, creep, rise and fall on human scales, they build architectures of movement, are expressed in Gothic, fluid movements that fragment and dissolve, to regroup later following a gestural imperceptible call, yet rigorously mathematical, coded to perfection.<\/p>\n Nothing is left to chance, if not the emotion perceived by the public, including the initial bewilderment of an artfully constructed “behind the scenes” and an originality sought at all costs in running and falling centers of impossible gravity. The acted out gestures, the plasticity of the bodies – surrounded by auras of pure energy – skim each other as flickering flames, shaving blades of light. The bodies seek each other out, find each other, lose each other, embrace and wrap themselves in tactile spirals, cells of one single creature in the making, pulsating, in a perpetual meiosis and mitosis of creativity.<\/p>\n “Possession” becomes Poetry. It is expressed through hands clasping each other, in the embrace of arched bodies that were just an instant before flying in a vibrant frenzy of whirling evolutions and daring flights.<\/p>\n When all is quiet and still, what remaing is the rapid breath of the dancer and the smiles. The cultural attache of the City of Gioia del Colle, Piera De Giorgi, in thanking Elisa Barucchieri and ResExtensa for this opportunity of growth and visibility offered to the City, expressed her sincere appreciation for Elisa and ResExtensa’s dedication and perseverance in making the Theater a lived, vibrant space. “It is exciting to see the name of Gioia del Colle and Rossini Theater in a project with such a large and international breath. Our theater is inserted in the thirteen steps of the 2013 tour, next to the Valle of Rome, the Soler Conservatory of Madrid, the Mermaid in Ireland and the most prestigious theaters in the UK. “Elisa – even if quite proven, supported by the enthusiasm and positive energy of those who surround her – brings her experience.<\/p>\n “The dancers really enjoyed the smells, the colors, the light, every corner of Gioia del Colle and Apulia. It took us time to get from the train station to the theater. They stopped to observe every thing, every corner, even the windows and shops with a heart warming awe. By looking at what surrounds us through their eyes, we rediscovered that beauty that sometimes we take for granted, of the places we inhabit. They decided to stay two days more than planned, taken by this piece of Italy. They might decide to return on vacation, thanks to this experience, and perhaps will infect others with their enthusiasm. ResExtensa presented the national premiere of “Mixed Bill” by Transitions Dance Company on April 19th and 20th in Teatro Rossini of Gioia del Colle, an evening length performance of three works choreographed by Tom Dale, Augusto Corrieri and Lauri Stallings: three different visions of dance to which “body and soul” were given by the twelve dancers: Hannah Cameron, Glynn Egerton-Read, Daisy Farris, Sarah Golding, Gregory Rosie, Rebecca Hall, Laura Ann Heywood, Robert Keates, Sarah Lee, Holly Preece, Silvia Rossi, Brian Solomon.
For Dale “Succession”, a performance declined in dance through the vast plains and complex grids, a space made alive and captured by the energy, the dynamism, the sensuality and the sculptoreal physicality of the twelve dancers. Simplicity and freshness in the costumes of Berit Laageide, knowing empathy in the lights by Karsten Tinapp, and electronic music to give voice to the dance movement.
For Augusto Corrieri in “Piece for 12 dancers 17 trees” – costumes by Lucy Reeves and light design by Andy Hammond and the unusual choice of music, “The Conversation (1974). Corrieri’s vision is intriguing, filled with clues and provocations, at times subversive and disorienting by eliminating the coordinates of a quite articulate code of theatrical understanding. Finally, in “You may be my brother” Lauri Stallings – costumes by Suzie Holmes costumes and lights by Fay Patterson – a true apotheosis of vibrant eclecticism through extremely suggestive filmic frames. The dancers “act” the movement and narrate through complex body architectures, with the complicity of the music of Beirut, Benoit Pioulard, Senking, Loscil and Boris Kovac.<\/p>\n
